Good to Know

Lochgoilhead has several Dry Rooms where participants can dry wet clothing.

Whilst ScotJam takes places in July, we do live in Scotland so the weather is extremely changeable.

All activities will be run in accordance with The Scout Association’s Safety rules.  The camp organisers can accept no responsibility for personal equipment, clothing and effects, and The Scout Association DOES NOT provide automatic insurance cover in respect of such items.

Scout Adventures Lochgoilhead will provide participants with all the equipment required to participate in activities i.e. Helmets, Harnesses, Buoyancy Aids. Participants will NOT be allowed to use their own equipment.

Lost & Found

At every camp young people leave behind items, so we encourage parents/ carers to do the following: Label bags, clothing and important items; Send participants with suitable clothing that is not irreplaceable; Allow your child to pack their own bag, under supervision, so they are aware of items they have brought and can identify them.

All lost and found items will be retained for one month at Scout Adventures Lochgoilhead, after which they will be donated to charity.
